Fourth Convocation of IIM Kashipur Held In Its New Campus

Mr. Dhruv Sawhney, the Chairman of the Board of Governor, IIM Kashipur, addressed the august gathering, in which he emphasised on the role which will be played by the graduating students as future managers and encouraged the students to focus on sustainable development as their decisions will have huge impact on society and environment, and not just the organization.

It was followed by a speech given by Dr Gautam Sinha, Director, IIM Kashipur, in which he gave a detailed account of all the illustrious activities that took place in the academic year 2015-16. The students were then presented diploma in post graduate management. Amitava Chaudhary bagged the Gold Medal for his superior academic performance over the two years with Keshav Mishra bagged the Silver Medal and Davinder Yadav bagged the Bronze Medal. Davinder Yadav achieved the All Round Performance Medal.

This was followed by felicitation of students of Executive Post Graduate Programme. Shishir  Shrivastava bagged the Gold Medal for his superior academic performance over the two years and Narinder Jit Singh bagged the Silver Medal.

At the pre-convocation, the evening commenced with cultural programme by Spic Macay. Mr. Debanjan Bhattacharjee mesmerised the audience with his scintillating musical performance. Also, the third edition of the annual college magazine – Revista, was launched by Mr Dhruv Sawhney, Chairman, Board of Governor, IIM Kashipur along with Dr. Gautam Sinha, Director, Dr. Somnath Ghosh, Dean Academics and Dr, Kampan Mukherjee, Dean Planning & Development. The event also witnessed launch of the book– " Public Policy Agenda - Decrypting Sustainability for India" by Prof Baharul Islam.
