It was an excellent summer placement season at FMS, and the results are there for all to see. Some of the most eye-catching details include the excellent performance in finance, and consulting. Here are some of the highlights.
Highlights of Summer Placements - Class of 2016 (as reported by Placement Committee, FMS)
- The Summer Placements process was completed in a record 3.5 days
- International Stints were offered by companies like MH Alshaya, HUL, Pepsico, Godrej and Acura Consulting
- 36 new recruiters visited the campus
- The mean stipend stood at an impressive Rs.59441 per month and the median stipend stood at Rs.60000 per month.
Banking and Finance
Highlights
- Morgan Stanley visited the campus for its Front - End investment banking role
- IDG Ventures hired exclusively from FMS
- Indus Balaji offered the role of Fund Manager
- Edelweiss offered roles in Treasury and HNI Broking

Highlights
- Boston Consulting Group hired from FMS for Summers
- Deloitte USI S&O and Accenture Strategy hired from FMS for summers
- RPG group visited the campus after a gap of couple of years
- Everest Consulting hired exclusively from FMS
- Cleartrip offered a strategy role exclusively for FMS
- Capgemini opened their Financial Services Consulting in FMS apart from one other campus in the country
Sales and Marketing
Highlights
- Coca Cola, Philips and Mars opened profiles in 3 domains namely Sales & Marketing, Corporate Finance and Operations
E-Commerce , Technology, Telecom and Media
Highlights
- Each of the top 3 E-commerce companies in India Flipkart, Snapdeal and Amazon visited the campus
- Amazon offered 6 profiles while Snapdeal came with 8 profiles
