After 12th, I had a serious accident, and I ended up with a broken jaw and a crushed knee. I was on crutches for around seven months. Just as I started recovering my girlfriend had a severe mental breakdown, and her parents got to know about our relationship. As a result, we were separated. This unforeseen break up shattered the very foundations of my self-belief, my outlook towards the entire universe, and my understanding of how it works. At one point in time, I started believing that I will never be able to run again. After a lot of introspection, I was finally able to accept things. It took me some time, but slowly and gradually, I got my confidence back. With this newly found confidence, I starting looking at things positively. This helped me lay a foundation for an upgraded understanding of the world and the way it works. By the time I completely recovered from the physical and mental trauma 2nd year of my engineering was about to get over. My grades were not looking good, and it was then that I promised myself to get my academics back on track. I worked day in and day out and ensured that I get excellent grades and by the end of the 3rd year my CGPA was 9+ which made me eligible to appear in placement drive of top companies during recruitment. I knew this was just the starting, and I started working even harder to make sure that I grab this opportunity with both hands. As a result of my hard work and perseverance, I got placed in L&T Constructions, one of the biggest construction companies, one of the first companies on campus and the first company I sat for, L&T construction, offered me the job. I was thrilled and proud to have done what I did, and despite the odds against me, I had proved my mettle.
