In the clothing section, there are numerous brands of ABG. Be it formals, casuals, party wear, they have it all and that too the best of it! Since my graduation Pantaloons and People have been an important brand of my wardrobe and now for formals, I easily choose from Allen Solly and Van Heusen. The main reason behind the popularity of ABG products is the kind of quality they provide, it’s remarkable!
Life is not a bed of roses neither it is that of thorns. It’s a struggle that one needs to trace to succeed in life. After the third year of my engineering, I had to do an internship as a part of the curriculum. Being from the branch of Electronics and Communication I was looking forward to a telecommunication company. But, it wasn't a cakewalk. After getting multiple rejections I finally got the opportunity to intern at Idea Cellular Limited.
I was happy and excited on the first day of my internship, but I met with a minor accident while going to the Idea office. Being my first day at work, I thought it would be unprofessional to make an excuse for reporting late. So, I straight away went to the office. There I met my mentor and I was further introduced to a few more employees with whom I had to work and learn. After a couple of hours passed my mentor asked me about the scar on my face, I narrated the morning incident to him. First of all, he scolded me for coming to the office instead of going to see a doctor. Secondly, he straight away took me to a nearby hospital. I was moved by the kind of person I met there. People full of values!
At Idea cellular, apart from the technicalities of telecommunication I was taught about the company values (Integrity, Commitment, Passion, Seamlessness and Speed) which could be seen pasted beautifully on the wall of the office. This was the first time I was working with an organization and I was fortunate enough to learn that only generating profit shouldn't be your aim. It's important to follow the values and ethics as well. Here I realized why Aditya Birla Group has been such an ideal organization. It's their values that help them in succeeding gracefully.
