Challenges are faced by everyone in life, a kid in school struggling for marks to an old age person indulged in retrospection about his life only to find what life would have been if they had done that one thing which they never did. Both the things as mentioned above have in common is comparison. A kid is always taught to be better than others, to be best at everything they do, to do the best of the best things so they can conquer everything. The same kid grows up and eventually tries to follow the same path to success without thinking much about it and giving up all the ideas which once seemed important and interesting to him only to realize it’s too late to achieve what he dreamt. Thinking plays an essential role whether you can achieve a goal, but positive thinking ensures half the goal is achieved. A person worried about his health instantly start feeling better when a doctor tells him not to worry about the disease it’s recoverable even though not a single dose of medicine has been taken because the doctor gave an optimistic opinion. The power of positive thinking helped me in becoming a better version of myself. Everyone talks about being positive, keeping a positive attitude, and ten other things with positive in it. But how many of us are able to apply it in our real lives is the question. As humans, we tend to identify ourselves with all the negative and pessimistic thoughts because of the structure of society we are surrounded with over these years with all the comparisons, judgments, perceptions which are in reality not true. Truly believing in oneself could be a little difficult, but the idea is not to become boastful but to help oneself in building patience without worrying much about others perception about you. As does the Aditya Birla Group with maintaining integrity in the business, I maintain integrity with myself by being honest to myself without despairing by thinking about the challenges life throws at me.
