ABG is like one of those rare friends for me who will never ask for your attention but silently will be there for you every-time. ABG was there for me at each and every stage of my life and most interesting fact is that I have a lot of memories with ABG products and will share the same.
ABG was the first telecom service provider for me. I clearly remember the day I got my first cell phone in class 12
th and got an Idea sim card in that. Can’t ever forget the initial offer of 100 messages per day for 30 days which I used a lot to chat with my friends.
Second best memory with ABG is when I was in college. I never got a good pocket money in college. I eagerly used to wait for the end of season sale in Peter England store. 2+2 or 3+3 used to be the offer and I would go with my friends with the few thousand bucks that I used to save in the whole semester and would come back with a lot of shopping bags.
Then came Ven Heusen and Louis Philippe when I got a job and started earning. My wardrobe is filled with these two brands. Looking forward towards Ralph Lauren now.
These examples that I gave are the ones where I recognized the ABG. But ABG is present in other ways as well. Being it the Ultratech cement that was used in the making of my house or the Raven tires that I use in my car or the Hindalco aluminium foils that my mom uses while packing my lunch.
I want to conclude this article by thanking ABG for making my life easier and being there for me like a trusted friend at each and every stage.

I have completed my degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2015. There were not many companies offering core jobs in mechanical sector at that time and I had to get into Wells Fargo India Private Limited (a pioneer name in the banking field) and then the real problem started. I was recruited as a programmer analyst and being from a non-IT background, everything was new and going over the head. The very first month was a nightmare for me. I had never found myself in such a difficult situation. I had to work on Unix, Sql, Informatica, etc. which I have never used in my life. Codes were flying all around and I was not able to grasp anything.
But giving up was never an option for me. I contained myself and decided to conquer the new challenge. I worked hard, took help from my peers with IT background, my seniors and internet to learn the tools I had to work on. I never missed a chance to grasp whatever I could. I volunteered on getting new tasks and assignments so that I could learn new things. Finally, my hard work helped me with Achieving Excellence Award within 6 months of my work. I was solely assigned to take care of whole Release Management activities and I was promoted to the role of Senior Programmer Analyst.
The one thing I learned from this experience was to adapt and improvise. Getting out of your comfort zone is very necessary to reach your goal.
