Aditya Birla Group is an Indian multinational conglomerate which is the 3rd largest private sector conglomerate which operates in 35 countries with more than 1,20,000 employees worldwide. The group has its mark in metal, cement branded apparels, chemicals, banking and insurance, financial services, telecom, BPO and IT services sector. Ranging from providing material for buildings to financial services to clothing, ABGL has it all. ABG has clothing brands which includes Pantaloons, Peter England, Van Heusen, Allen Solly which not only provides quality clothing but also gives us the hospitality that most fashion outlets lack. It has made me its permanent customer due to quality it offers and hospitality. It offers wide range of clothes which ranges from casuals to business clothes. It has one of the biggest brands in Cement industry which is UltraTech cement which has a consolidated capacity of 102.75 million tonnes per annum (MTPA) of grey cement. UltraTech has a strong presence in international markets such as Bangladesh, UAE, Sri Lanka and Bahrain. UltraTech is a founding member of the Global Cement & Concrete Association. Ultratech cement is not only a trusted brand in households but also stands in frontline when builders are looking for the best mixes for corporate buildings. It is currently being used in more than 2600 construction sites across India. UltraTech believes in the Group’s CSR vision “To actively contribute to the social and economic development of the communities in which we operate. ABG has contributed in building Birla Temples across India which I have been visiting since childhood and it has helped me in meeting different types of people and gaining their insight on different problems and situations has helped me in building my views and personality.
