Why Aditya Birla Group is big in your life? Aditya Birla Group, the gravitas the name carries in the Indian market is second to none. The 162-year conglomerate is the powerhouse of a gamut of products in industries ranging from agribusiness, cement, chemicals, e-commerce, finance, mining, retail, telecommunication, financial services, BPO, IT services. The products in these industries carry their name by being trendsetters in their respective spheres and have rightly embossed success all over their name. Seemingly, the diversified domains it has gathered a hold on, Aditya Birla Group has had a huge impact on almost every segment of the market, especially, us millennials. The most common product for a millennial being the mobile connection, in which Birla Group’s Idea was a common household name. I, when moving out of my city for my graduation had bought Idea as my first connection and it didn’t disappoint then and It hasn’t disappointed in the present as well when they merged with Vodafone ltd. They tapped into the micro-level need of the population, which was cheaper data and calling rates. The Indian youth is head over heels regarding their fashion and always foray into diverse brands for making a statement, and here, Aditya Birla Group has a train of sought-after brands with the likes of Peter England, Louis Philippe, Allen Solly, Van Heusen, etc. My most recent memory with Aditya Birla Group has been the urgency of finding a slick and neat suit after I stepped my foot into one of India’s biggest Schools, and that was when I shopped from Peter England, which had the copybook fit for my demand of a suit. The price was attractive as well, which shows that Aditya Birla Group has jotted down the rationality of Indian consumers with concern to their diverse demands. So, these memories are one of the most impactful ones of my life and has directly or indirectly influenced my buying patterns. Aditya Birla Group has been incorporating these values for customers since time immemorial.

Fire in the Heart Sends Smoke in the Head. “Holding on to anger is like grasping a hot coal with the intent of throwing it at someone else, you are the one who gets burned.” ― Buddha. A man’s acumen with regards to his business or his personal life is always strangled with a host of different dimensions that cloud his judgment and one of the biggest hinderances is having issues with temper. I have, all my life, tried to juggle with my temperament and mind’s responsiveness. This has in the past created scores of unfortunate circumstances with my family and a close-knit circle of friends. Trying to empathize, being a better listener, expressing apt emotions, learning to take feedback, beginning conversations with no preconceived notions, are some of the textbook methods I was advised to have a grasp on my temperament before stepping into an MBA curriculum. But all of them, either single-handedly or with a variety of combinations amongst them were not replenishing the breeze of calmness and placidity within me. So, with the walk of life and a big journey awaiting me, I had to explore more and look for alternatives, and that is when I found my love for dogs. Since then, there has not been a single morning when my Instagram didn’t pop up with their stories and videos. The aberrations, wrong confrontations, misfits all wash away when these lovely creatures shower their love and lay it out in the purest of the forms. Meditation has been a huge difference maker for me. As described by many, meditation has injected long term and far reaching  benefits . It lowers that anxiousness and spiked up stress level and makes body and soul tread in single ocean current. It has been a huge turnaround for me and I have incorporated all the best of those emotions mentioned above. I have seen this change where I converse with new people more interactively and engagingly than I used to and rebuilt that broken thread with my close ones. It completely overhauled my personality, gave an emergence to lucid thinking and have a new outlook for life, helping me create a better understanding of the ecosystem around me. #ABGLP #ABGWOOME #XIMB
