Long before the independence of India,162 years ago, the foundation for the Birla group was laid and no one would have thought that this small creation would root out into an everlasting dynasty that serves the entire world in different forms. Majority of our Indian population would have experienced at least one of Aditya Birla’s products. They are omnipresent and their service to people speaks for itself. Their hashtag #BigInYourLife aptly portrays the way the giant is linked to the people. Now, I would like to write about the most important product line for ABG. Their fashion product and services. From my childhood, I loved to wear branded clothes especially Peter England. Whenever I go shopping with my parents, I rush towards PE to get a look at various new arrivals. Later, my desire turned into an obsession. Thankfully, Pantaloons catered my needs. My college days were flattered with brands from Pantaloons. All my birthdays and office party celebrations clothing range from Allen Solly, Van Heusen to Peter England. One other point where I am closely connected with the ABG group is my mobile connection. I am a loyal customer of Vodafone since my undergrad and was awarded loyalty benefits for the same. In this ultimate competitive world, a person without personality and better connectivity is typically no one. Both of my needs were answered by ABG group. Moreover, I am privileged that one of my country’s conglomerate is ruling the global market with its products and it eventually motivating millions to aspire for bigger ambitions in life. Thank you ABG for your contribution and continue giving your best as you always do.

‘Being challenged in life is inevitable, being defeated is optional -Roger Crawford’. I believe in this saying as it rightly reflects my journey to date. When I did my schooling, I was aspiring to become a doctor. I prepared and gave my best in board exams. Later, I didn't get through clearing any government medical colleges and my parents couldn’t afford to join me in private medical colleges. Career was at the crossroads and I preferred Engineering over everything. I only believed that I could do anything in this world once I trust in myself. I have a poster stuck in my room which says ‘You are the only competitor to yourself. Act Smart’. Though mathematics was not my major in schooling, I excelled in Engineering with utmost hard work and graduated with a Gold medal, University topper. Life was not easy since then. There were huge expectations from me. During my brief period of work at an IT company, I decided to start up an organization of my own. The idea flourished but there was no one to support me and there was no team either. Again, career was at the crossroads. I managed to find a person with identical thought process and we tried to carry our vision further together. Right from incorporating the company in MCA to starting up the operations, there were a million problems which would take pages to explain. I believe in only one thing that hard work never fails. Everyone in this world has their own timeline. Never lost patience and finally in my three years journey, I cracked building a company which was listed as the Best Startup in India by CITIC in Chennai last year. Whenever I face a challenge in front of me, I consider that as an opportunity rather than a hurdle. This paid me off and I hope it helps others too who follow it.
