Have you ever felt that your world is starting to crumble because how life tends to bombard you with seemingly impossible challenges? Well, you are not alone. Reality has its interesting way to remind us that no matter how hard you try and how good you treat people, you will have those days when you will feel that the world is against you. Even I had a very same experience when I was in Kota for two years to do IIT coaching. I have preserved lots of mixed memories in my souvenir bag. Well, it is known as “The Education Hub” with the best minds being nourished; the cut-throat competition makes you scared. It’s the do or die situation over there. It is an irrational thought embedded in the minds of majority of Indian students that life is either in IIT which paves the way for a successful life or it’s a bust. The class ambience was way different from that in schools. I was a distinguished student with good marks and rewarded every year for the academic excellence but in Kota it was just a norm. Crumbled under this pressure, I felt ineptitude which was bludgeoning to my self-confidence. This caused the trepidation to creep in and reflected on my RT's. The failure to see myself in the IITs was excruciating and made myself loathsome. But I have always found my parents as my strength whose words were encouraging enough for me to get through this nightmare and still manage to pursue my interest. My friends have also played a crucial role in keeping me sane. Staying away from home made me independent, confident and showed me the reality of the world. I realised that everyone has a different set of talents and a great potential to achieve their goals. With that thought, I paved my own way and did what I really liked.
