F2G'16 - Fun Day For The Faculty - DMSIITD

Introducing the first of its kind, the Department of Management Studies, IIT Delhi organized Faculty Fun Games - F2G’16 - on 2^nd October to ingrain a sportive vigor in our faculty members and proffer them with a venue to relive their glorious youthful heydays. The buzz of anticipation for the turn out of our venerate and esteemed IITian professors for such an event was tremendous. Our impressive faculty members, like always, startled the audience by showing up in huge numbers with a sportsmanship temper and an exuding winning streak.

We entered into the spirit of the occasion when Prof. MP Gupta, Head of Department, inaugurated the event and taking the podium, congratulated the students and applauded the faculty members for the wonderful initiative and oozing enthusiasm. As the proceedings of the day began, we witnessed immense excitement in the air when the professors took to competing with each other in events including badminton, table tennis, carom and chess. The outburst of cheers and cries from the volunteers, spectators, and co-contestants was the perfect boost for creating a frolicsome atmosphere. Fun times with a lot of other exciting games added to the enjoyment and ecstasy. The audience was undoubtedly mesmerized with the energetic and zealous performances of their beloved professors.

The day’s activities were soon at a close after the results for the events were declared and the winners were congratulated with gifts. Some of the faculty members took the opportunity to express their feelings  of the day’s goings on and finally proceeded for an appetizing lunch.

Retrograding to the essence of the event, the Faculty Fun Games F2G’16 was a resounding success and we can proudly say that it’s the first of many such amazing events planned for the year ahead.
