Aditya Birla group is involved in every Indian's life. From cement to clothing, they are everywhere. Someway or other you use their products. My personal experience with ABG products is with idea cellular. I have lived for few years in rural part of Rajasthan where the population density is minimal in India. I can remember when for first time idea started services in that rural part. Other telecom companies were reluctant due to less customers. I am from Rajasthan and I know the not for profit brand Bits Pilani that ABG group has invested in, and the brilliant minds it is nurturing are assets of our country and helping in local community empowerment. I still use idea-Vodafone, my first mobile number. For the b-school I bought my formals from pantaloons.
In my village most of the infrastructure including roads, buildings and schools is built by Ultratech cement. Bandra-worli sea link bridge is built using ultra cement and when I was in Mumbai I visited it. As an Indian I feel proud that we have capable business groups like ABG who can build such brilliant businesses. Aditya Birla group was founded by Seth Shiv Narayan Birla in 1857. It's very difficult for businesses to survive for even 50 years but Aditya Birla group is there since 162 years and going on strong growth path. It is very hard for me to spend a day without being thankful to the Aditya Birla Group. The impact of this group is immense on my life. Life would not be so easy without the contribution of Aditya Birla Group.
This is the importance of Aditya Birla Group in our lives.
Challenges are and should be the essential part of our lives, because they force us to get out of our comfort zone and be innovative to be a better individual. Without challenges, life would be too boring to live. I have had my own fair share of challenges and I have learnt a lot from them.
I was born and brought up in village in the remote area of Rajasthan. I studied in Hindi medium schools. When I got into engineering college, I faced many difficulties due to my weak English. I had to anyhow get better in to survive in the academics. I devised a plan for my betterment. I extracted time out of my busy schedule to improve my English.
I used to read English articles on my phone whenever I got time. Eventually, I got into the habit of reading newspapers daily. This habit proved to be very effective during my interview for IIMs.
Knowingly and unknowingly challenges can make you better in some areas of which you were not even aware of.
In the hectic schedule of my college, I had to devote time to my English studies. I learnt to manage my time well. In short I can say that the biggest challenge in my life made me the person that I am today. We should strive hard to become the best version of ourselves. For this, we have to continuously challenge ourselves with new and harder challenges. We should turn every challenge into an opportunity for learning and become an asset to the society and nation.
