After so many heart-wrenching year(s) of hard work, witnessing many failures, having been through an abundance of emotions in the last couple of months simultaneously, I have finally decided the college where I would love to spend the next two years to study and call it MBA. After I've come here, I have seen many students with the same amount of enthusiasm and the same hope with which I came.
When I came, I kept searching for friends I have made through WhatsApp groups and specifically from my state as I thought I could be more comfortable with them but somehow I proved myself wrong and I ended up meeting and interacting with people from many states. I generally take time to gel-up with people but at IFMR GSB, it has occurred naturally to me that I caught myself talking to so many unknown people just to get to know them. It only helps you when you go to any person and talk to them. It increases your self-esteem and it can reduce the fear in you and with more friends, you can have a wonderful source of knowledge be it in politics, economy or even life.
We have heard so many times that your network is your net-worth but what better than an MBA college to make your best network because you have students from mostly all the states. From different opinions in who is a better human being, a south Indian or a north Indian to same political opinions, we, generally make a life long friends coming to an MBA college.
Coming to MBA college and making friends with different states is like expanding your own knowledge and most especially, you can have multiple and out of the box solution to your problems. It's all about living life with them and growing up to be bigger and better.
