Like almost everyone in the world, I have not had a smooth road while on the path to achieve my goals. One of the foremost examples of this has to be my maths exam in 12th class. I was a good student in my school who used to get good marks in all the subjects but my performance in maths dropped after entering 11th standard. It worsened to such an extent that I got just 30 marks in my 12th class school paper. Just 9 months were left for board exams and I was facing a very steep climb up the mountain. That is when I decided to buckle up and not be daunted by the challenge in front of me. I decided to study religiously for the subject instead of taking the easy way out and dropping the subject from my board examinations. I refused to take a 6th subject in order to safeguard my percentage as that would have provided a comfort zone for me. I started studying the subject for 5-6 hours each day and the performances did start to improve. My marks started increasing from 30 to 45, then to 60, then 65 and in the final boards exams I scored a 95! I was over the moon and satisfied that all the efforts that I had made in the last 9 months paid off! I was able to score a decent 95.6% in my boards exams and was thankful that my weakness in one subject did not tamper with my prospects for the future. I was able to get into the top undergraduate management college of the country and ultimately land into Faculty Of Management Studies.
