Why Aditya Birla Group Is Big In Your Life
For many people, Aditya Birla Group represents various brands they have associated with and the goodwill that comes with it. My experience is very different with the name. It all began back in may of 2011. I was a middle class student in Hyderabad just completing my intermediate. I was sick for 6 months with a fever which doctors couldn’t find a reason why, lost half of my 2
nd year intermediate. But I was resolute, that I would revise well and leveraging 2 years of my hard work, I would get into one of the premium engineering colleges in the country. I just finished my IIT and my dad thought that there was this other exam called BITSAT I should write. So not knowing much about it then, I googled BITS, something called Birla Institute of Technology and science came up and even though I had heard the Birla name before I was awestruck. By the magnanimity that created the institute and that’s when Birla name was etched into me forever. That’s when I decided I would get into it. I got admitted into 2011-15 batch in EEE in Hyderabad Campus. Graduation for anyone is an important part of education because that is where we mature and BITS did it with such poise that indeed ‘BITS-Pilani- Its magic’ phrase is the only one that can describe it. To those 4 best years of my life where BITS exposed us to exciting new worlds of possibilities and nurtured us all along the way To the institution, I owe everything. And to the group that established it, I am grateful.
So that was where my conscious adult life began, when I was 18 years old and consciously read about the Aditya Birla Group. And it was a journey of many firsts. Knowing about this awesome college, My first ever phone in the first year of engineering with an idea sim. Looking at peers and noticing that the navy blue Allen Solly shirt was indeed cool and graduating to Louis Phillipe blazers. It was a journey of many firsts. And as Nicholas Spark said “
There's no love like the first love.”

How Have You Made An Impact
I consider myself as a quick learner. Throughout my career, wherever I have been I make sure I invest extra effort to learn the ins and outs of the job quickly and become an indispensable part of the process, creating an impact. The way I achieved this was through prioritizing various issues at hand, understanding the causes and then approaching the issue in a structured manner. This has helped me in many places like, being able to execute a program that was patented by the company in my internship, being point of contact between the client and the technical team after having an experience of only 3 months at oracle etc. I was able to learn so quickly because I was able to find opportunities that were not visible from my perspective initially. A tool that has been of tremendous help in realizing these opportunities was networking. I learnt it during my graduation days at BITS Pilani Hyderabad Campus. and used it effectively since. All of these above qualities are really helpful only if one is willing to do whatever it takes and puts in the efforts without giving up midway. Whatever I am today, I have faced many difficulties reaching here, like an illness before IIT, BITS exams in class 12 where I had 102+ fevers daily evening for 6 months, abrupt demise of my father in 2016. After joining IIM Rohtak I was in Industry relations cell for 6 months and was able to give my 100% and make a difference. However life threw a curveball and had to face many difficulties at home. However, with the discipline and utilising the skills that I earlier gathered I was able to persevere and made my internship mentor proud when my internship project pitched to the national head. There have been many areas I have made an impact. Some of them also being areas of my life which were most important to my metamorphosis from a playful student to a dedicated professional.
