As the numbing winter chill recedes, nature sets in motion a phase of rejuvenation and revitalization. Across the world, this event is marked by festivals that celebrate the homecoming of spring. In continuance with that long standing tradition Indian Institute of Management Ranchi (IIM Ranchi) invites all B-school students to be a part of its annual management spring fest, Arcenciel 2014.
True to its name Arcenciel (which literally means an arch in the sky or rainbow in French) is a unique confluence of fun, energetic and stimulating events that encompass the panorama of learning in a b- school. The event facilitates the coming together of industry, academia and future leaders of the business world on an interactive platform wherein innovation and ideas get the recognition they deserve and passion conquers all.
With participation from over 60 B-schools in the pre-cursor event of last year, Arcenciel 2014 is bigger, better and more vibrant! With eight never-before events and prizes to the tune of INR400000, this February brings forth the perfect match to the unparalleled excitement and the yearning for learning!
Guesstimate Knights is the flagship event of Conundrum, the consulting club at IIM Ranchi. The Guesstimate Knights is one of a kind team event which will give teams a chance to test their analytical skills in a time crunch. The event shall mirror the questions frequently asked in most campus interviews and look for a coherent thought process more than an accurate result.
With an eye on the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, Conundrum presents Politburo, a first of its kind professional political consulting opportunity for the students. Political Consulting is an up and coming domain especially with parties beginning to realize the importance of marketing campaigns in their success. This will be a unique test of the student’s mettle in macro-economics, marketing and strategy.
Sankalp is the Net Impact Case Study Competition being organised by Samarpan, the CSR club of IIM Ranchi. It solicits from participants a Business Case presentation in the area of CSR, Education, Environment, Hospitality Management and Agriculture. The most innovative, sustainable and feasible business proposal will be proposed to the Ministry of Rural Development and to Corporate Houses at IIM Ranchi with attractive cash prizes.
Marcase, the flagship event of Marquess the marketing club at IIM Ranchi, is a two stage case study competition. In the first round participants will be given 2 mini caselets to analyze. One caselet will be creation of Service Blueprint Design and the other will be Value Chain Analysis. And in the second round the selected teams will be provided with a new case in which they will be required to come up with Complete Branding and Positioning Strategy. It’s a complete online competition with an opportunity for the participants to improve their understanding of the field of marketing and strategy
E-Cell at IIM Ranchi is dedicated to the cause of promoting entrepreneurship. They Endeavour to encourage & nurture the culture of entrepreneurship in the society. Working further on this mission, they bring to you Veni Vidi Vici an event aimed at solving live problems faced by the NGOs through entrepreneurial ways, which is a social entrepreneurship challenge.
