# How to solve this question fast - A,B,C enter into a partnership by investing Rs

A, B, and C enter into a partnership by investing Rs. 2700, Rs. 3600 and Rs. 5400 respectively. A receives 25% of the profit, and the remaining profit is distributed among the three based on their investment. If A gets a total of Rs. 6000, what is the amount of profit that B gets?

How do I solve this without using equations and variables?

I tried to simplify the answer as you asked. A gets 25% means one fourth, so other three fourth should be 3 times of what A gets, i.e. 18000. This amount is divided in B and C in their ratio of investment, which is 3600:5400 that translates to 4:6 ratio. We can understand it as out of 10 parts of 18000, 4 parts belongs to B which is exactly 7200 and rest other belongs to C.
