Is worth giving CAT for the 3rd time
Preparing for CAT for the 3rd time and already had a gap of 1 year. What is the chance of converting to a good B-school with and average academics?

This is a personal choice that you want to attempt CAT for the third time. But if your academics are average, getting into top B-Schools will be a battle since IIMs give weightage to past acads too. And gaps of one year is acceptable, 50% of B-school candidates usually have a gap years. But I personally feel that CAT score is not a factor to determine your skill and mettle, a bad score means it's not your day. That's it.
