#YouNeverGraduateFromTheGoodTimes was a campaign started by the Alumni Relations Team in 2016 with an aim to connect and reach out to as many alumni as we can in our journey of building and strengthening relations with their alma mater.
And this reached a whole new high with the advent of Homecoming – an annual alumni tradition to celebrate the glorious journey of completing ten/twenty years of corporate excellence that begun from SCMHRD.
To make the experience truly nostalgic and special, we had the pleasure of hosting three prime faculties that were instrumental in mentoring them to become world class leaders of today, shortly after which the dynamic Priya Kher revived their memories with the popular FCQs that ruled around their time. The event was also graced by one of India’s leading bilingual stand-up comedians Mr. Abijit Ganguly who flew down all the way from Delhi to tickle their funny bones with his quirky antics on corporate culture, student life and the very famous Bengali-Punjabi tussle.
With the batch of 1996 who started their journey twenty years ago to become world class leaders of today.
The batch of 1996 had the pleasure of visiting their old campus at S.B. Road where they visited their old classrooms, NCC canteen and many such places in and around that campus. The batch of 2006 exercised their muscles with an exciting cricket match with the current junior sports team of SCMHRD. As the day progressed, a memorable bonfire was set up for both batches that danced to the soulful tunes sung by the Music Club of SCMHRD.
The next day saw an exhilarating interaction between the alumni and students over engaging issues like career prospects, student vs corporate life and many more among others. Homecoming 2016 turned out to be a huge success with the love from the alumni and constant support from committees like APR, S-Reflect, Sports Com, Xtasy and Music Club.
The Alumni Relations Team is truly grateful to its alumni for extending their continuous support and patronage toward the well-being of their Alma-mater.
