The highest stipend on offer increased by almost forty per cent as compared to that offered last year. The highest stipend offered this year was Rs. 2.50 Lakh. The average stipend offered was Rs. 54,751. The average and the median stipend for the top quartile were Rs. 1.13 Lakh and Rs. 1.10 Lakh respectively. The institute also witnessed many first time recruiters making double-digit offers to the students.
"This was the first time we were visiting IIM Nagpur and were impressed by the quality and exuberance of the students. I am sure IIM Nagpur would be among the top tier institute shortly," said John Mathew Sebastian, Manager HR (Talent Acquisition), V-Guard Industries Ltd.
IIM Nagpur has witnessed a highly encouraging response from the recruiters in terms of talent pool, course curriculum and skill development. The Institute thanks its CDS team and the placement committee for their excellent performance and for making IIM Nagpur only the 2nd IIM amongst the new generation IIMs to wrap up their summer placements in early January.
