Our esteemed guest then spoke about technology, which has always proved to be a spine in revolutionizing the airline industry once in every decade. These days, digitization, with the help of emerging technologies such as the Internet-of-Things, Blockchain and Artificial Intelligence, is indeed playing a vital role in transforming this sector.
Mr Sinha made the students realize that it is imperative for new technologies to be adopted and implemented in businesses in a way that brings productivity and a higher level of maturity in operations.
In the last part of his session, Mr Sinha suggested that any organization can become an industry leader by concentrating its locus of focus on the three sources of innovation - people, process and technology. Answering the queries of the curious audience, Mr Sinha provided several other insights on international aviation and also conveyed that the most important thing that a young manager of today needs is the openness to new ideas.
