The one and a half hour session enabled the enthusiastic students to identify real-time data, plethora of research reports and features that the terminals have to offer. The multi-screen terminals enabled students to work on multiple data sheets and graphs at the same time.
The Bloomberg Terminals are bound to maximize the full potential of the Ph.D., MBA and Financial Engineering students currently enrolled with courses at VGSoM. The advent of these terminals will benefit students both inside and outside the finance program, as well as faculty doing research on financial markets.

With its strong news and research features, Bloomberg Terminals are one of the most heavily used on sales and trading desks at Wall Street investment banks and brokerage houses, as well as the asset and wealth management divisions of those firms across the world.
In addition to streaming real-time global news from multiple third-party sources, the Bloomberg terminal will provide students with an opportunity to increase their analytical capabilities not only for equity and fixed-income products, but for currencies, commodities and derivatives as well.
The installation of the Bloomberg terminals is another story in the long continuing success saga of VGSoM. And we are sure that many such stories will be written in the near future.
