How you overcame challenges to achieve your ambitions in life so far?
One of the prominent challenges, I faced was pursuing people for my higher education, in my community almost 80% of women do engineering in which 60% work and in that almost 40% quit after getting married. I really didn’t want to be a person in the crowd, wanted to be the leader of the crowd. Even in the fortune 500 companies, there are only 5% of women CEO's. I really want that trend to increase, and the first step for that was CAT exam, interviews and then B-School and giving my 100% everywhere.
When I came up with the idea of higher education, most of the people surrounding me where you had your three years of work experience why do you want to do higher studies now get married get settled. Among all those negative vibes my mom was my pillar of success behind it, I can never forget her words “If you want something go fetch it If you can’t who can.” It made me understand that life is all about what we think of ourselves and how much we are ready to put in our efforts for it.
Another challenge was my fear of water, from my young age I always had a phobia for water. One fine day I was like enough is enough; I had to overcome it and started going for swimming classes. Initially, I struggled a lot because my fear was overshadowing my ability to learn, but practice makes anything possible and the fruit of learning made it all exciting.
