Title is everything. A bad title could result in your story not being read by thousands of potential readers. Try not to be cryptic. Be direct. Ideally, the user should know from the title what he/she will get if he invests time reading it. Title should be short wherever possible.
Try not to copy paste directly from MS-Word or such applications. Reason – Your article will clash with the formatting on the platform and may appear bad. Solution – Copy to Notepad and then copy paste. Bold, Italic, Underline you can use here. Tables if any can be directly copy pasted or can be uploaded as images.
Always put a Featured Image. Let it be big. It should not have any text ideally but if it does it should not be more than 20% of the image. This will ensure your story travels on social media.
We will approve posts within 45 mins between 9 am and 6 pm from Monday to Friday and between 9 am and 1 pm on Saturday. Posts written at all other times will be approved on the next working day.
We will not approve stories with grammatical errors and/or if they are less than 250 words. All stories need to be 250 words or more.
Avoid editing the post after it has been published by us. It will lead to the link going offline for a while after we get it for approval again.You will lose users who may click on the link through social media but reach a page that doesn't exist until it is approved again.
Always add the bio and an image of the author at the end of the story so that readers get context about the writer. Your story may not be approved if our team cannot figure out who the author is.
