I am a motivated and an enthusiastic individual who believes in sheer perseverance. I have tried my best to develop an all round personality by working in diverse fields and trying to grab all the opportunities that were presented to me. For me, the most important thing throughout my job and academics has been going beyond the project given to me and maintaining a good rapport with my colleagues and managers.
I did my Computer Engineering from Sardar Patel Institute of Technology, post which I worked at General Electric for around 2 years as part of their leadership program "Edison Engineering Development Program". I have also maintained various Position of Responsibilities throughout my job and education. I completed the Summer Military Training Course at Bhonsala Military School. I was the Treasurer of the Computer Society of India Student Body and during my tenure our committee won the Best Computer Society of India Student Branch Award. These experiences coupled with my time at IIM Indore has helped me develop leadership skills.
What have you done at your Post-Grad/Business School/Undergrad level that makes you stand out from the crowd?
I believe that I stand out from the crowd because I have experienced both sides of the table - as a student and as part of the academic executive committees. I have tried to excel not only in academics but also in extracurricular activities by being part of various administrative positions and representing the students' views in front of the administration.
I have maintained a batch rank in Top 30 while holding the post of Secretary of Academic Affairs Committee. As a student representative of the PGP Review Process and the PGP Executive Committee, I have experienced the workings of the administration and the challenges faced in it. I have also handled other PORs - Senior Member of Chanakya and Corporate Involvement for IRIS - the management festival at IIM Indore. Apart from this, I will also be a part of the Global Action on Poverty - GAP 2016 Event as a Changemaker, I secured the 3rd prize in the Tata Trust Social Entrepreneurship Competition. I was awarded the Sir Dorabji Tata Trust Scholarship and Narotam Sekhsaria Scholarship for academic excellence in Engineering.
What have you done in your life that you are the proudest of?
During my internship, I was given the responsibility to roll out an IT system for the "Transportation Management" Project at Unilever. The system if implemented was to help in cost savings and synergies for the Logistics and Distribution System at Unilever. In the 2 months, I not only streamlined the business processes but also completed the implementation. The Tool was rolled out at many locations during my stint and I came up with administration level workflows and the design. I also compared two IT Systems and gave recommendations to the senior management on continuing with one system. The recommendations were accepted and the corresponding implementation was done.
I am proud of this achievement as I was able to drive the end to end process of Go Live for the System and collaborate with a team of Vendor Partners. Within a short span of 2 months, the System was up and running at multiple locations, the successful completion of the project also helped me bag a PPO from HUL.
