ADITYA BIRLA GROUP- ONE CONSTANT THING IN OUR LIFE, ABGLP WOO ME- Shyamsunder , IIM SIRMAUR

Pantaloons, a part of Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail limited was always there when I wanted to buy quality clothes with brands such as Louis Phillippe, Allen Solly, etc. Ultratech Cement which was acquired from Larsen and toubro has been the building blocks for the buildings that we are living in. Also, Carbon black produced by Birla Carbon is used in production of tires for vehicles. It is also present in telecommunication sector as a part of Vodafone Idea Limited and I have been using this network for 12 years. It is also present in financial domain as a part of Aditya Birla Capital Limited and perform various corporate social responsibility. Aditya Birla Group has been a part of my life and it has impressed me with its quality, network and performance.

How I overcame challenges to achieve my ambitions in life so far?

Challenges are something that we face in some point or other in our life as these challenges that we face teaches us a lot and tests us on various factors such as patience, resilience. These challenges play an important role in shaping our life because if we tackle the challenge properly it helps us to grow ahead in our life and also boots our confidence. If we don’t tackle it properly then we may struggle ahead in our life and we need to work hard a lot to overcome this. Challenges could also be of personal desires such as we can challenge ourselves to perform better than we are doing today.

One of the challenges that I had faced was during my tenure at Reliance Jio when I was preparing for CAT exam. It was big challenge for me as I was preparing for exam, travelling for 4 hours daily to commute and also had to complete the task that was assigned to me at my work place. So I planned a strategy to overcome this challenge , I used to study while travelling to office as I had to travel a lot to reach my office and during my office hours I used to do the task assigned to me and later after reaching home I used to study for a specific period of time.

The continuous execution of my strategy to overcome my challenge eventually paid off when I scored a high percentile in cat and I was able to convert a few colleges. Along with this, the task that was assigned to me in office was handled very well and I was able to deliver the task in given time. So, this challenge taught me how to use time effectively, never give up in any situation and keep working hard as if you follow the plan and keep working hard you will eventually succeed and achieve the ambition that you always wanted to achieve in your life.
