Talking about the challenges I have faced in my life, I would like to give some Insight on how difficult it was for me to actually reach into an IIM and taking the first step to fulfill what dreams I always had of being an entrepreneur. Actually I come from a background where, people in the family and even in the community will not push you to study, even they won’t ask you to be doing your studies the major reason of which is the thing that in the community of mine people are more focused towards doing things as ancient practices e.g. marriages at a tender age, considering studies as a part that one should do to be called literate only etc. and according to them these practices are conventional and right. Speaking of this I would like to say that my cousin sisters and brothers from my father’s as well as my mother’s side were made to just complete their matriculation or some to complete their intermediate studies and they were forced to get married at an age of between 17-20, but I had my plans clear that I am not the one who is going to go with the flow. I always wanted to be an entrepreneur, so I completed my intermediate and I refused every single one of those kinds of ideas and suggestions and got a scholarship from the Technical University of Uttar Pradesh and completed my B.Tech in mechanical engineering with a honors degree from there and secured a handy job , but deep down the dream of being an entrepreneur was always there and I quit my job after around 18 months and prepared for CAT and today I am at IIM SIRMAUR one of the most prestigious MBA colleges in the country and I hope that I could become whatever I have thought or dreamt ,after taking the quality education from this institute , and I hope that one day if I will be able to achieve what I have thought and show them the necessity of quality education and ideas I will be able to change their mindset and thinking.
