As I pass through the 5.6km beautiful Bandra Worli Sea link in Mumbai I am amazed by its beauty, its architecture and the fact that how it has eased the commute between Worli and the suburbs of Bandra. In all walks of life everyone needs a companion, a confidant who can help him/her when required, can contribute to his/her growth and on which he/she can rely. “A guy with a plan” #IIM Trichy

Nelson Mandela said “A winner is a dreamer who never gives up” and this has been my mantra for a long time now.

Earlier in my childhood days, I never looked at my goals seriously and lacked intent. Because of this, I have failed to achieve what I wanted to at various times. But, eventually, I understood that I cannot attain success and excel in any sphere of life if I keep acting in the ignorant manner I have been doing earlier. I have now imbibed in me a never give up attitude and qualities like self-motivation and perseverance. I look at every goal as if it is my last one and work with all the zeal and energy I have.

I have faced a lot of hurdles while pursuing dance which has been my passion from my school days. If I would have given up on this I would not have performed ever on stage, led my college’s dance team, won awards and certificates and probably would have been heart-broken my entire life on one more failure of giving up my passion. I gave auditions in school and college and got selected in the dance teams. I participated in a lot of inter-college competitions that has been an enriching journey for me.

Another challenge I have faced was to manage my time and resources when I was preparing for my MBA entrance exams. I was working in an IT company where I worked as a web developer and had to meet strict deadlines and coordinate in a team to meet customer’s requirements. I didn’t always get much time to study and rest my body after office. But I ensured that whatever time I can get I will make the maximum use of it. I made a schedule and tried to follow it every day with a little amount of sleep. I wanted to get into an IIM, and I feel my consistency and perseverance even after a busy schedule has allowed me to achieve it.
