Aditya Birla Group is a well-known conglomerate established in India with a span of more than 150 years. As the type of company suggested “conglomerate”, it has businesses in various fields starting from cement to insurance and from agri-business to connections. It would not be wrong to say that most of us has come across at least one or the other product or services of Aditya Birla Group. I have also encountered with some of the products and services of ABG several times in my life.

One is the most influencing products I used is Vodafone Idea network. This is not the only product of ABG, I use, but it can be said that the Vodafone, Idea network has helped me a lot in my life. There is a small background of the reason I chose this product. I am from Jamshedpur, Jharkhand which is a beautiful small town. My father left his hometown (i.e. Manoharpur, Jharkhand – small village in Jharkhand) for his job and got settled in Jamshedpur. My grandparents stay in Manoharpur. From my childhood, I used to visit them and used to have nice chats during those visits. However, When I came out from my hometown for higher studies, the meetings started to reduce. I am the eldest child in my family, my grandparents are too fond of me. Now, since my grandparents used to stay in a remote area, the phone connectivity was almost nil. There are instances when people need to go to some specific place and keep the phone at a particular angle to get the network. Now, comes Aditya Birla Group in the picture. And guess what!! that place had only two mobile connectivity services and Idea was one of it. It was not only an existed option but was the preferred one too. Idea connection has helped me to stay connected with my grandparents, even if I am not around. I can hear out their happiness over the phone in each conversation I have with them. This has only been possible through Aditya Birla Group and in this platform, I would like to thank you and give you a big thumbs up for the great work. Learning I got from this was how to deal with problems when it seems impossible to solve and then rise as champ.

Apart from this, Pantaloons is the other favorite brand of mine, whatever I want I get it here. Even for my formals for the interviews I chose the Van Heusen Shirt, Allen Solly Blazers and the list just goes on. ABG retail products are one of the most trusted brands for me. Not only in terms of quality, but also in terms of price. The products are of reasonable price,great quality, reliability and of course, trending all the time. This company has taught me how to be reasonable and posses best quality in self with a humble nature all the time.

Believe in yourself and things will fall into place accordingly.

I believe that challenges come in life to make the person most worthy of his or her ambitions. Challenges are like freebees with our goals or aims, it will always be associated with each other. I have also faced many odds to achieve my goals in my life. However, believing in self will give your dear one's trust on you and a motivation to work towards your goal. The best example I can take of CAT, I started preparing for CAT in 2016. I wasn’t much successful that year due to sectionals. In 2016, I was not working and was preparing full time for CAT. Since, my marks were not that good, I was getting the colleges of my choice. So, I decided to take CAT next year, but also, I didn’t want my profile to have year gap in it. Hence, I moved for a job in Bangalore. I moved there only to score less marks in CAT before my first attempt. I was thrashed to look at the scores this time and realized that I need to work harder as I have two boats to move on. 2017 attempt was a real eye opener for me and then I decided to work harder to get into my dream college. I took CAT again in 2018 with all my josh and now I am here at IIM Trichy. All I want to say is not to lose hope and work honestly for your dream. That’s the only mantra to get into it.
