Part B – The Leap
At Aditya Birla Group Leadership Programme the people are driven to make an impact, irrespective of the challenges faced by them. Similarly I have risen to the place where I am right now by facing a lot of challenges, by being broken and having experiences. I was the kid who got bullied, whose confidence was so lowered that it started affecting my personality. The only place were I was able to perform well was my academics as I was able to study alone at my home and had not to face other kids of school.
It all changed for me when I went to do my engineering to my under graduate school. I was subjected to more humiliation and bullying and that became the turning point were I realized that people are going to be mean to you. People are going to bully you. But as Mahatma Gandhi once said
“First they Ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win”
And when I got this realization, the world changed for me. From being bullied, to being fearless, from being shy, to full of confidence, from stage fear, to a public speaker, everything changed for me. It is from that day that I am happy to face each and every challenge thrown at me, because there is nothing such as a good or bad experience, its just the experience and to succeed in life you need to be open to it.
