Highlights of Summer Placements 2016-18
- As the seventh batch of students at the institute joins various companies for their much-awaited summer internships, with a conviction to set higher benchmarks in the industry, here are some highlights from another successful summer placement season for the flagship PGDM and PGDHRM programmes at IIM Ranchi.
The highest number of offers were made in the Sales and marketing domain; while industry-wise, FMCG & Manufacturing and BSFI were the leading sectors.
Sales & Marketing and Strategy & Consulting continued to be the most preferred domains among the students
14% of the total roles offered were in the core Finance domain
57% of the batch had previous experience in IT/ITES fields and the highest stipend offered in the IT and Analytics domain was Rs.1,67,000
36% of the HR batch, having a strength of 51 students, was recruited for HR roles in the sectors of FMCG and manufacturing
