One only realises the value of things once he no longer possesses them and while I enjoyed my lunch during my school days but I only realise its value now.
As I sit in my hostel room and type this I still miss the taste of the hot and fresh homemade food that my mother used to prepared waking up so early and the Freshwrapp foil that made it retain its true essence.
Challenges reveal our true potential to us and how boring would life be if there were not any challenges.
Being a commerce student and cracking the Common Admission Test (CAT) is tough when the majority of your competitors are engineers and the subjects are such where they have an edge.
As I opened the browser on the bright morning of January 9, 2018 to check the recently declared the CAT results my heart started beating faster in anticipation but also deep down in my heart I knew I had no reason to worry as I had given it my all. As the result flashed that I was in the top two percentile of the candidates a small smile graced my face as I remembered all the struggles I had to go through.
When after my final year in Commerce I decided to give CAT I was ridiculed for my choice and told to concentrate on either becoming a CA or CS. I was told that MBA does not provide an optimum career opportunity . I used to study for three long hours daily after a very hectic nine hour job practising a diverse set of problems engulfed by the desire to prove my doubters wrong Despite such peer pressure and stiff opposition from my parents and friends as I sit in the hostel block of the IIM Kashipur campus I realise that the taste of victory becomes even more sweeter when you overcome many challenges to accomplish it.
