All of us have ‘n’ number of things around us, and one company that has a major role to play in it is Aditya Birla group. Right from sitting in a building made from Ultratech Cement, to wearing Pantaloon clothes, to calling through an Idea Sim. Even the smartphone I am holding in my palm has a part of Aditya Birla Group in it, which is aluminum by Hindalco to make cover glass for smartphones.
Right from childhood, Aditya Birla Group has been an integral part of my life. From carrying my mother's lovely rotis to school in a FreshWrap foil to waiting to get back home to get in my comfortable stylish Pantaloon clothes. I still remember when I turned 15, I got my first personal phone to use and the way I connected with my friends was Idea! Sharing those ‘forwarded’ jokes and having endless laughs, every moment became cherishable. What an Idea Sirji! As I turned 18 and started my graduation, the need for a formal attire arouse and Peter England was the first name that popped. As I turned older, interviews came my way. As they say, your first impression is your last impression, I had to make a striking impression in front of the interviewers. How can I be sure of that, by buying a nice suit from Louis Philippe. It gave me immense confidence in my interview, the result of which is here, I cracked an IIM!
In a way, Aditya Birla Group has been an integral part of my life as I grew up, fulfilling the needs and bringing joy and continue to be there for me.
PART B
The formative years or my school life was not exactly a ferry ride. I am a short heighted person, and it was even more evident during a younger age when everybody else seemed s giant to me at one point. Due to this fact, everyone got a point to bully me. I cannot even count the humiliating nicknames I was given. Most of my friends were significantly taller than I am, so they used to under-estimated me. It bugged me so much that at one point I stopped talking to anyone. I used to blame God for making me short. But then I realized, height is not something one can do much about because genetic factor matters a lot in these traits. So, I had to do something to cope with it.
I consolidated myself that everybody cannot be the same. We are not machine-made products that are exactly alike. Everybody has some pluses and minuses. Besides, the ultimate success in life doesn’t matter on your physical traits only. It is your mind and your attitude towards things that you achieve great heights. Not talking to anyone and isolating myself will only bring more sadness in my life. So, I worked on other aspects of my personality, improved them, and still improving so that one physical trait and the bullying that goes with it does not come in my way.
