Aditya Birla Group is a $44.3 billion dollar corporation with a remarkable global presence.
Products of ABG has an impact on people’s day to day life. With the mission of ‘To deliver superior
value to our customers, shareholders, employees and society at large’, ABG has proven how
businesses can influence and contribute to everyone’s life positively.
The impact of Aditya Birla Group started during my school days, I can remember a few years back
how my father trusted Ultratech Cement, leading cement companies in India, for
construction of our home. He was sure on the quality and explained how rationally he made
the choice for robust and durability of the construction.
During my college days, I relied on Pantaloons for my outfits, a fashion powerhouse which had the
most appealing collection of fashion brands under one roof with exciting budget-friendly
offers. Till date, most of my purchases are still part of my wardrobe collection. Also, I relied
on Peter England when I had to buy gifts for my father from my first salary.
Not only the apparels but also telecom Idea was there during my college days with the best suited
and economic voice and data plans to support my needs to connect to my family, friends and
to surf the web for information.
Aditya Birla Group has not only influenced me and my family but there are millions of people across
the globe who use products and services in 34 countries where the group has an active
presence in 14 industry sectors.

far ’.
Challenges are part of life. Each one of us face challenges very often. Be it a small kid who
has challenges in his Kindergarten classes in the form of basic class task or as a grown up to
deal with odds in the real harsh world, all of us has to face challenges no matter what. The
only simple rule to succeed is to face the challenges with confidence. Win or lose it always
blesses you with experience and wisdom.
As a small town boy, who was very introvert I had to face several challenges during my graduation. It
was the presentations or speeches which we had to deliver in front of the class which always
scared me. All I knew was I had to overcome it and always tried to actively participate in
such tasks and gradually was able to deal with the stage fear.
After graduation, it was the job at Cognizant where my role was to interact directly with client and
senior management as a developer, many among the team feared to engage but I took the
challenge as a junior and had built a good reputation with the client base and senior
managers which led me to win awards for my performance at workplace. It was during that
period when I shifted my inclination towards business functioning and management and I
decided to go for MBA.But as my job profile demanded most of my time, it was quite
difficult to prepare for CAT.I took the challenge and burnt the midnight oil to get a call from
IIM Raipur.
During the course of time, I have learned to welcome every challenge with open arms for the
experiences to enjoy with proper planning, hardwork and dedication.
Believe in yourself, take on your challenges, and dig deep within yourself to conquer fears!!
