Apart from MORE Megastore, I have had the pleasure of being an avid fan of Aditya Birla Fashion & Retail. I have been to Pantaloons dozens of time. I own a wide variety of clothes right from VAN HEUSEN to LOUIS PHILIPPE. These are not just my clothes, they are my identity. I associate myself with them. These brands bring out the best in me; they let me be who I want to be. Even in my college interviews, I wore my favourite white VAN HEUSEN shirt. This clearly shows how big the Aditya Birla Group is in my life.
I am an ordinary person who loves doing extraordinary things. At the end of the day, when we look back, it will be the stories that will stay with us. People do face hardships and failures. It is a way of life. What I have learnt till now is to pick myself up, analyze, act, and go on. The attitude that we have towards these hardships is what matters.
“ It is always darkest before the dawn.”
Initially, I faced rejections from colleges when I wanted to pursue an MBA, right after my graduation. It did set me back, but I brushed it aside. I focused on my job and excelled at it. I also received immense praise for my work. I started my preparation once more for the entrance tests while working 10 hrs a day. This zeal to crack the exam built an excellent level of perseverance in me. The whole process helped build my personality, as well as tested my patience. It has helped me evolve as a person and has also increased my confidence and my capabilities.
Failures are an integral part of our lives, which helps us shape our future. If we learn from our mistakes and keep moving ahead nothing can stop us from reaching great heights. The attitude towards our failures and mistakes is what matters.
Music is something that I love. I believe in the power of music in spreading peace and harmony. I wish to teach the guitar to underprivileged children so that I can make a little impact on their lives for the better. This will also provide me with a chance to learn from them. Shaping the trajectory of our lives around our failures gives us scope for improvements.
