“Fall Seven Times, Stand Up Eight”

The challenges one faces in its life are the building blocks for that person, the challenge that seems so impending before now when looked back just seem so easy, it happens because you have already fought that fight and you emerged victoriously. And everyone in its life faces many challenges as said earlier these are building blocks so we need more of it to build our future and as the Japanese Proverb above rightly said even you fall many times but have the courage to stand up one more time.

I also have faced such challenges like the one when I was running my business, a cyber cafe and it faced a period when it became difficult for it to survive and also my family was facing financial problem so can’t afford to lose it at that time. The period was such when there was technology boom in the market and internet has become cheap like anything, those who use to came to use the internet in my cyber, now have the same access in their hand. For they were just paying around 100  bucks a month, so why to pay 20 for an hour and I lost my market, to again get my share in the market I need to diversify the services offered and as there is technology upgrade everywhere so everyone also started to avail the online services and switched to that part and started offering all sort of online services such as ticket booking, applying for pan, passport, filling up application form, online money transfer to some extent, etc. though these all were there before also but most people started using then and with the help of these and other printing tasks my cyber cafe is still running while most of them are closed.

Like these, I have faced some other challenges also in my life but to fight back is the key, and keep progressing in life no matter what and as a result now I am here in IIM Visakhapatnam. And also, as German Proverb says “Begin to weave and God will give the thread” which means we just have to show courage to fight back and God will lead u after and what you will gain is a lifelong lesson and of course a building block.
