You name it and its highly unlikely that one hasn’t been a part of their contributions to us and India as a whole, being a millennial, I had the privilege of witnessing the metamorphosis of the Indian Economy which is now largely thriving to be the next powerhouse manufacturing economy in the world and companies and brands like ABG acts like a catalyst in the whole process which puts the country on the world map.
Many came and left, but ABG kept on building on from milestone-to-milestone with a dynamic leadership throughout this past century which is still continuing, can be regarded as its greatest forte.
Now with the digital transformation underway in the country which expected to increase the total number of Internet users in India to 449.96 million in 2017, by 2021, compared to 829 million in 2021. It is expected that the Internet economy in India will double $ 125 billion in April 2017 to $ 250 Billion in 2020, mainly supported by electronic commerce. E-commerce receipts in India are expected to increase from $ 39 billion in 2017 to $ 120 billion in 2020, representing an annual growth of 51 percent, the highest in the world and ABG also one of the biggest contenders expected to thrive in this domain.
Moreover, myself being a potential to be part of this corporate dynasty hailing worldwide, I can only look forward, and even to the past and look up to ABG not just as an example of inventiveness but also as an ascendancy over a global empire.
Experience has no, Standby; Period!
Challenges, itself is a multifarious word defining experience(s), instance(s) in one’s life that becomes the defining moment of their life.
For me, it should be the phase of my life where I was left with the responsibility of the rest of my family consisting of my ailing mother and two younger sisters who were in school at the time, as my father had to leave for work and he hardly met us a couple of times all those years.
At a very young age of approximately fourteen, I understood the daily hardships of surviving at a fast-paced metropolitan city like Delhi managing my studies and taking care of matters like paying rent, electricity-bill, ration, tuition fees, medical bills, managing funds and what not. When my fellow friends were living typical metropolitan life I had to think twice before making every decision as directly or indirectly it would have affected my family.
But, nevertheless now at the current stage of life thriving to become the next potential corporate I am thankful for those experiences and hardships which taught me more about life at every ground level which no, book could have ever taught me. I practiced management even before I took it as my background. I overcame all those days with limited resources which taught me the ground reality.
As it is rightly quoted, that experience has no, substitute and yes, at that age I used to curse it but now when I look back to it I find myself only with learnings.
Programs such as ABGLP is a brand itself making a pathway for management students like me which helps and develop the core values simultaneously identifying yourself. Moreover, ABLP creates an ecosystem that helps budding entrepreneurs and corporate leaders to find their path.
