As it is rightly said, “a ship is safe in its harbor, but that’s not what ships are for”, people shouldn’t be afraid of trying new things in their lives and should be open for adventures to follow their passion which is my motto in life as you can never know what you are good at unless you try out new things. As Mr. Aditya Birla said, “There is nothing which cannot be achieved, provided you have an open mind, the will, the devotion, determination, enthusiasm, and vision to achieve the seemingly impossible”, everyone can achieve success in their lives, all they lack is devotion, determination and the ability to get up again after falling down.

Everyone has been impacted by Aditya Birla Group at some point of time in their lives. With over 120,000 employees in 35+ countries in over 14 industries, the group touches lives everywhere. The group does many social activities for the poor, as part of its CSR initiative focusing on different areas. In the education area, it reaches more than 45000 students annually while giving scholarships to more than 8500 students along with its adult literacy campaigns covering more than 50000 adults. In the healthcare area, it has about 9000 medical camps treating over 1 million patients. It also focuses on other social causes such as rainwater harvesting, dams, bore wells, irrigation canals, community outreach programs, to name a few.

The group has been an important part of my life in several ways. From buying suits from Peter England for formal gatherings, to helping me in staying connected with people over the Idea cellular network. My father took a personal loan from Aditya Birla Capital which I am very thankful for as it helps me pay for my MBA tuition fee which would have been next to impossible without that loan.
All in all, it can be said that the Aditya Birla Group has helped shape a prosperous India impacting everyone’s life in some way or another.
