How I overcame my challenges:
In every segment of our lives, we are bound to face challenges, instead of taking a step back in the face of a challenge we should accept the challenge and try focusing on providing a solution for it. Challenges are part of everybody’s life. They give us failures and successes, and every failure can be a huge lesson and immeasurable experience to learn. I faced many challenges in every part of my life – from schooling to the present. I am Rajeev Gandhi Kandikuppa born in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh. I would like to name a few of the incidents where I took the challenges and worked hard to overcome them.
Firstly when I was in my school I had been bullied by several students as I am a bit chubby. In order to show that being chubby was not a hindrance to any of my daily activities and to even show them that I could perform any task equally or better than those students, I enrolled myself into my school volleyball team and started playing volleyball. I even participated in the many intra-school level competitions for volleyball and proved to my friends that I am no different. This encouraged me to play many more outdoor games and I was never bullied by any individual since then. Secondly, I am a Mechanical Engineering graduate and was hired by an IT company after graduation. To work in IT sector which was not my stream is yet another challenge before me. I took up the challenge and learned the work very fast and started working in comparison to an IT graduate. Thirdly my interest in entrepreneurship had made me start my own food truck business after I left that IT firm. I started my own food truck business in Vijayawada and endured many challenges in running the business and had successfully operated for 2 months. Now I am pursuing my MBA in order to improve my skills to become a successful manager who can handle the challenges in a much more efficient manner.
