When I was 5 years old, I once went with my father to visit my Uncle’s house. After reaching to my Uncle’s place I was very excited and surprised to see the sky touching buildings. I was excited because I had not seen any of these huge structure before. I suddenly asked my father that how is these structures stand so still and how come they do not fall. My father smiled and held my hand tightly and told me that just like he holds my hand so that I do not fall or stumble and always feel safe and secure, just the same, the cement used in these structures hold the structure firmly so that they stand still and the one who live in them fell safe and secure. Then I asked my father what is this cement that holds the building so still just as my father holds my hand. He instantly replied, “ULTRA TECH CEMENT”. From that date onward I always find Ultra tech cement as firm as strong as still as my father holding my hand.
Now I would like to share another experience of my life with Aditya Birla Group. I was then 13 years old and it was my summer holidays. After waking up late in a Sunday morning my father told me to get ready as he was planning to buy a mobile phone and as such, I was too excited again as I was going to see a new type of phone i.e. smart phone. I was in a very jolly mood. I went and got ready within no time. My father my mother and my younger brother all were very excited as it was our first family smartphone. Arriving at the store we bought the most economical smartphone which had a camera and a radio in it we were very eager to use it. Just then the shopkeeper said, “which network would you prefer to have it on your new phone.” My father asked about the network which has uninterrupted signal strength, speed, economical and the most reliable network. The vendor with no confusion gave us no other than “IDEA” network. My brother smiled and replied to the vendor in a funny manner “what an idea Sir jee”. All present in the shop couldn’t resisted their laugh. Looking at all these incidents IDEA has created a very soft corner in the hearts of not only mine but also of my family members. And with the span of time IDEA has created a soft corner in the hearts of the country as well and thus is one of the most prominent networks which not only provides uninterrupted speed but also caters to the middle-income group.
Years passed by and watching the time fly by I was 22 years old. I had completed my graduation and was planning to pursue my further studies. I gave various entrance examinations and finally got admission in a good Management school. But I was very reluctant to join the programme as the fees of the programme was too high. I was very depressed and didn’t know what to do. Mu father yet again came to me held my hand as he held when I was a 5-year-old and asked me my problem. I told my father that how can we afford such a huge fee we do not have any savings with us my father again smiled and told me when I was 10 years old he was investing small- small amount in Mutual Funds and now the time has come to use it for my education. I again asked my father what is this name of the financial service which solved our entire problem. My father told me it is the one which has stayed with us through our entire life, which has held our hand just like he held my hand it is Aditya Birla Financial services.
Thus all I can say that through my entire journey from a silly 5 year child to a responsible man Aditya Birla Group has always held my hand and always protected me so that in every sphere of my life I stay strong ,Firm and still like Aditya Birla Group itself. This is some of my personal experience and I hope it helps all just the way it did to me in the coming years as well.
Part B- Challenges faced by me and how ABG helped.
In every sphere of life, I faced many difficulties. But the one which I consider the most depressing was when my family income was not enough to support me to pursue my Higher Education. I got admission into various good Management schools but due to lack of funds I was very reluctant to take admission. There was a time when I decided to work by forgiving my MBA aspiration. Those 6 months were like hell to me.
One day my friend asked about my problem and I told him everything. He then instantly suggested Aditya Birla Capital and when I visited there the financial personnel helped me by providing various insights about loans and plans. This instantly helped me to achieve my management dream.
