Part B:
In my high school we had a badminton team, which used to participate in various competitions at district, regional and national level. The members were divided in age groups and each group completed only with members within the same age group. At the age of ten I wanted to be a part of 15-17 age bracket in the future-the most competitive group to be in. Every year there were several students who applied-but only few were chosen. To make sure that I get selected into the team I decided to start practicing under a regimen. Thus in line with my plans, I started playing and practicing every mornings and evenings. But this schedule took a heavy toll on me. Physically I was tired which in turn impacted my studies. I came to understand that down the line the challenge for me would be to maintain a balance between studies and practice sessions-as the load of studies was only going to increase. It took time, rigorous efforts, patience and a lot of will power to continue the sessions. After few years when the time for selection finally arrived I passed with flying colors. Not only did I make it to the team but was also able to participate in competitions-an experience that I will never forget!
