It is said that “Our greatest glory is not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall”. There have been times in everyone’s life where we have felt that getting up is impossible and when we actually did it there was much greater zeal to go on.
Honestly speaking compared to a lot of people I haven’t any challenge that could be considered big. My challenges are small and day to day like overcoming a massive amount of stage fright. The career I chose for myself does not allow me to have such shortcomings. I cannot say that I have overcome this challenge and every time I have to give a presentation this fear surfaces but every time, I successfully deliver a presentation I overcome the challenge a little bit.
The extent of my fear was such that I refused to talk to any of my teachers until I was in 5th standard. I was gripped with such a sense of insecurity that I lied to my parents about talking to my teacher. But they were able to identify and understand my problem and coax me out of the shell that I had created for myself. When I tell this story to my friends now, they find It hard to believe it because of the way I have transformed myself.
Rightly said, any adversity or shortcoming that you face in your life shapes you up for facing anything that life throws at you.
