An International Immersion program familiarizes students with global policies, practices, cultures. The admission policy framework of FORE also encourages diversity. The present batch is highly diverse in terms of gender (34% female students), academic background, and work experience. Unlike some IIMs, FORE doesn’t offer incentives based on gender but in order to encourage cultural diversity, a special weightage of 5% (over and above 100%) is offered to candidates from North East India and J&K.
A “special concession” amounting to 10% waiver in the tuition fee is also extended (over and above any other scholarship being given) to the students who join the programme and are domiciled in the state of Jammu & Kashmir and the 8 North-Eastern States of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Tripura and Sikkim.
The applications for the upcoming 2016-18 session at FORE is open. Students can apply through their CAT, XAT GMAT scores.Though CAT/XAT/GMAT score is apparently the primary benchmark for selection but in order to make it more open for the students, weightage is distributed to other skill sets and great deal of emphasis is given towards profiling cognitive abilities managerial qualities and latent business leadership talent.
