Well to be honest I have had my share of challenges throughout my life until now. I am not complaining about it because I feel “What doesn’t kill you, makes you stronger”. Starting from my early school life, I was an introvert kid but well behaved and not at all notorious, well that was mainly because of the upbringing that my father gave it as he was in the Air Force and manners and discipline are two things which is given. So, overcoming my introvert behaviour was a big challenge for me because I was kind of bullied in my junior secondary school. So, I learned overcoming it the hard way. Come class 10th I was in the dilemma of choosing whether should I go for Science or Commerce Stream, because my parents wanted me to choose science but I wanted to choose the latter. But as we know we don’t have a choice when it comes to parents so since then it has been a rough road for me, not much into studies, playing basketball most of the time and not giving proper attention to academics. But still one thing has been with me is my behaviour and my discipline, which has always kept me in the good books of the teachers and the faculties. I always knew that I can do that it was just a matter of time when I will realize it is high time to focus on the career. Come 2017, I choose to give CAT and go for post-graduation, but then also I faced a physical challenge of getting hospitalised in the month of September’2017. Just a month before the CAT exam and because of that I lost a lot of precious time and coaching classes as well. Even after coming back from the hospital there was weakness for couple of weeks and which made me panic more. Then I realised that whatever happened is not in my control but what is going to happen that is in my control so I gave CAT, got decent percentile but couldn’t get into a top college of the nation. So, I took admission in an average college and started preparing for CAT again and this time with more zeal and enthusiasm as I knew I didn’t deserve being mediocre again after putting so many efforts. Gave CAT, scored a good percentile and ended up in one of the premiere institutes of the nation that is #IIMRaipur. So, this was my story and my challenges and one more thing I would like to add on is this that a person can change his habits but not his core nature and because “Good Behaviour and Discipline” has been imbibed in me since my childhood that helped me a lot to overcome all the challenges.
