PART A

Aditya Birla Group is the third largest Indian conglomerate which operates in more than 35 countries and employs more than 120,000 people. It made a huge impact in Indian market  in various department like cement , fashion , textile , telecom as well as financial services.

Speaking of cement business Ultratech cement is the biggest company in India , recently we built our house in a town named Umred ,we used Ultratech cement in the construction of our house as it is the leading manufacturer in the country and enjoys goodwill among contractors as well as people.

Aditya Birla Group is a brand which I prefer when it comes to clothing , I remember my father used to purchase  Peter England and as I grew older I started using brands like Van Heusen , Allen Solly and Louis Philippe which gels well with my style . Non iron formal shirts from louis Philippe is a boon for me as It saves me precious time at my business school .  Speaking of which Business formals are one of the most crucial things as it gives the opportunity to create an impactful first impression . I prefer Louis Philippe and Van Heusen in these cases as they focuses more on clothing for business professionals.

Communication is an integral part in the  globalized world ,one of the most convenient way of caontacting people is via smartphones , which wouldn’t be possible without a consistent cellular network . Aditya Birla Group recently merged with Vodafone to create the biggest telecom brand in India of which I am a proud consumer . I am just one consumer who had been positively influenced by the Aditya Birla group I am sure there would be many more .

PART B

I was born and brought up in a small town known as Umred I had done my primary schooling from Umred . As there was no good facility for higher education I had to shift to Nagpur . Being from a small town it was difficult for me to gel with my city mates , I had to understand the culture of my new school and it took me almost an year to make some good friends as I was an introvert . The learning from my school and my peers broadened my perspective and I started to enjoy interacting with people, I took part in various elocution competitions and honed my communication skills.

After finishing my schooling I appeared for engineering  entrance exams and I failed to get an admission in IIts or NITs so got an Admission in electronics engineering in ramdeobaba college of engineering and management. In my college days I participated in lots of curricular activities  to enhance my communication as well as organizing skills which piqued  my interest in the field of management . after completing my graduation I worked as an intern in think and learn private limited and after that I worked in It and consulting giant Accenture to get myself acquainted with the corporate culture .  Finally I decided to quit my job and focus on CAT preparation I knew the risk of quitting , I had this feeling what if the I would get the same result as the IIT-jee exam but I decided to believe in myself and worked hard   and finally got an admission in IIM Raipur . This is a story of an average small town boy who was able to get into a prestigious institute through sheer hard work .
