The second would be the LIFESTYLE. It was common for us to visit them mall near our house on weekends to browse through the latest fashion apparels. I used to buy cool and new clothes form Lifestyle and would show it off in front of my friends. I still remember the hint of jealousy on their faces after seeing the brand-new clothes, it was surely fun.
The first semester of my college. It was a new life for me. It was the first time I was away from home and living without any restrictions in the hostel. I used to stay up late, having fun with my friends. This, however, took a toll on my studies. This lead to me underperforming in three subjects out of five in the first semester. This completely broke me down, as I had been a bright student for all my life. I was not able to look into my parents and friend’s eyes. I started doubting my competence and thought of quitting engineering. But then my friends and teachers counseled me and helped me overcome my doubts. I finally graduated first class, and also got placed in my dream company!
The second would be my struggle with the CAT exam. I started preparing for CAT in 2017, which was my first attempt. I did not score well, due to my humongous workload at the office. I thought of giving up the idea of going to a B school and staying put at my job, but my manager and my friends motivated me to give another. This time I managed my time between the office and my study effectively and made a proper schedule. All my hard work finally paid off, and now I am sharing my story from my dream B school - IIM Raipur!!!
