Introducing - some of my crazy batchmates
Shantanu Narain is a soft-spoken man of few words. That is, until you get him fired up over something which is when he could talk circles around you, a handy skill for a lawyer. His certificates from college suggest he has organized more events than I have attended in my lifetime and he also happens to be one of the best drivers I have ever met.
Moksha Chib is a woman with a heart of gold. She is a fantastic listener and has the effect of making one want to divulge secrets to her. She’s very secretive about her own life and so maintains an aura of mystery around her. I look forward to getting to know her better.
Dhruv Gupta is an engineer from IIT Delhi, but he will follow that introduction up hastily with the fact that he loves to play the guitar. His genres of choice span from classic rock and blues to psychedelic and progressive pieces. He still laments the loss of his beard since joining FMS.
Veena M is one of the most amusing women I’ve met. She has a sneakily subtle sense of humour and wit, so it wouldn’t come as a surprise to you when she talks about the time she’s spent writing. She’s written reviews about other reviews, which she claims was to assess market sentiment. I suspect lazy writing.
Which ABG company would you want to work for and why?
I would love to work for ABG’s premier luxury men’s apparel brand, Louis Philippe. The brand is one of the largest apparel brands in India and I have been a frequent customer of the brand. I would wish to wish to observe the brand’s marketing strategies, both present and previous that may not have worked as well as they hoped. Besides advertising the quality of their products, I would like to know how they profile potential customers and entice them into making a purchase. I also wish to study the effects of combining luxury and lifestyle into a single brand.
