My Journey To IIM Ranchi - Kshitij Sharma's Story

Then came the first day of my job. Our training for one month was planned with utmost care. The moment I saw the plan for our training, I started to realize so much of thought would have gone behind preparing this plan. HR specialization of MBA became apparent to me. Days passed and we were made aware about the supply chain at TATA Motors- how a product gets planned through market research (marketing and strategy became apparent to me), how it gets developed (operations) through feedback mechanism processes, the stages involved (again operations) and how sales and services get operated. I tried to put myself in the shoes of the people involved in industry building process and then I started realizing the importance of education in a B-School.

And thus here I am, at IIM Ranchi. My two weeks of induction here made me realize how correct was my decision to go for an MBA. Group activities that occurred here pointed clearly to the process of industry building and sustenance. Each and every part of an MBA has some or the other role to play in long standing of any organization and I feel really excited about being part of such an enriching journey.
