And who can forgo the clothes we wear. From PANTALOONS to PLANET FASHION, from VAN HEUSAN, PETER ENGLAND to LOUIS PHILLIP, ALLEN SOLLY (to name a few ), the brands have been recognized by each and every section of the society. Be it a casual party or be it a big corporate meeting, each and every section of society find a place for the brand close to its heart.
Talking about the basic necessities and not talking about the INDIAN RAILWAYS would be big miss. A large share of the copper requirement of the INDIAN RAILWAYS is being fulfilled by the BIRLA COPPER LIMITED (HINDALCO INDUSTRIES LIMITED). It is the world’s largest aluminum rolling company and is also a leading producer of copper. It services key industry sectors such as building & construction, auto motives, packaging, electrical, consumer durable's, and many more.
Last but not the least THE VODAFONE IDEA LIMITED. India’s biggest telecom company both in terms of market share and the revenue generated. They have literally reduced the distances with high quality internet speed at just finger tips click.
All these are just tip of the iceberg about my experience with the company’s product and services.
My Challenges
So I was always fascinated by fast moving aircraft's, big trains, and cars running down the roads. All these curiosity led me to pursue Mechanical engineering. During my First encounter of one the Mechanical lab, I saw an ATV car build by our seniors about 10 yrs ago and also there was a board with names of the seniors engraved on it. On that very day I promised to myself that I will do something for which I get my Name up there and people will remember me.
So the journey started with participation in a competition named BAJA organised by Mahindra. It was my second yr. I got the opportunity to represent the college for the presentation round held in Chandigarh. But unfortunately we could not qualify.
Next yr again I motivated a bunch of guys and took the charge, took part in same competition but failed again. The whole of the college was laughing at us for failing for 2 consecutive yrs at the same competition.
But instead of giving up I tried again and finally tasted success in my fourth yr. We cleared the first round. But clearing the first round was just tip of iceberg. Now we actually have to design and build an actual ATV Car. We booked a garage about 20 km outside the city. Motivated the juniors to join me. There was no support from college, they didn’t provided us with any support, be it financial, academic, rooms, equipment's anything. All the cost was beared from our pockets. I even faced a near death experience, had faced many ups and down during the making, lost my eye sight for 2 days, we didn’t slept for days, had to skip foods just to collect funds for the car, slept in the garage for 3 months, skipped all my classes just for my dream.
But as rightly said-“The most beautiful view comes after the hardest climb” .The day we did our project I literally cried .There was no words to express. I finally proved it to the whole college, that despite challenges, despite against the odds we did it.
