However, the most important role that an ABG company plays in my life is through its “Aditya Birla Capital” services wherein I could personally capitalize on all its four verticals – Protecting, Investing, Financing, and Advising. Amongst all its financial services, the most influential role in my life is played by the Aditya Birla Money Limited.
Aditya Birla Money is the platform on which I learned the ins and outs of Stock Market Investing and trading, thus adding a lot more meaning to my MBA education. Today, the Aditya Birla Money app is where I spend my maximum smartphone usage. For me, it’s not just a platform for transacting in the stock market, but a place that offers a lot of educational insights into the domain. Hence, it has helped me become an independent investor and practice the art of investing and trading, every market day. Overall, it has complemented my MBA in Finance and added a lot more value to my classroom learning of the stream.
In a nutshell, the ABG group has contributed immensely in my personal as well as my professional life and will certainly continue to do so in the future.
PART B :
At the core of the ABGLP program are people who drive to make an impact, irrespective of what challenges they face.
This is how I overcame challenges to achieve your ambitions in life so far.
One of the famous quotes of the great scientist Albert Einstein says that “It’s not that I’m so smart, it’s just that I stay with problems longer”. These are the words which define an ideal approach for me, towards facing life challenges that obstruct your cakewalk towards achieving your ambitions – the more persistent and patient you are in dealing with them, the easier It gets eventually.
The ultimate ambition of my life is to be a successful businessman, which I inherit directly from my father who is in that position already. From an early age, I strongly believed in doing an MBA to complement this ambition. Thus, cracking CAT invariably became a short term target. However, with an established business ahead of me, I was pushed hard to bypass further education and jump into the business. Further, the deteriorating health of my father during my graduation was every day calling upon me to take up the business responsibilities, as soon as possible.
But against all odds, driven by my ambition, I continued to stay focused on my CAT preparations, thus staying with the problem for a longer time rather than giving in to the more convenient path. I continued to believe that I have what It takes to be an IIM student, and consistently good results in my mock tests helped me to extend this belief across all the shareholders in the situation.
Surely I will be facing many more obstacles in the future, especially in the entrepreneurial setup, but this learning will continue to stay with me and could well apply to all the challenges life throws in my way – the longer you stay with the problem, the easier it gets.
